We never know when a small initiative from government can make a major impact on anyone’s life. Manisha Kale, an 18-Year-Old Lady is one who gave birth to a child on the crowded Panvel Railway Station. And the “One Rupee Clinic” initiative of Central Railways along with the Private Medical Agency was on their rescue.

What actually happened at Panvel Railway Station?

Manisha Kale was traveling from Nerul to Panvel when all of a sudden she started experiencing Labour Pain. Someone among the passengers informed the Station Master about it.

Speaking about the incident, Dr. Rahul Gule, CEO of One Rupee Clinic says,

“Our Panvel center night in-charge Dr. Vishal Vani got a call from the station manager, and Manisha Kale gave birth to a baby girl with the help of the doctor and railway staff.”

Thanks to the efforts of One Rupee Clinic Staff, Manisha was able to give birth to a child. Both Mother and Kid are in hospital but in a healthy state.

This is not the first time that One Rupee Clinic Staff has done delivery on the station. Since its inception in 2017, this is the 11th Time that the staff of One Rupee Clinic has come to the rescue of the public.

It is noteworthy that Central Railways along with a medical agency runs this initiative. They only charge a rupee for the consultation. While the blood pressure checkup can be done free of cost. They also carry out other health tests at a normal cost.

The team of One Rupee Clinic is 24*7 available at various railway stations of Maharashtra. We couldn’t do much more but can heartfully thank the team for their dedicated service.
