ITR Filing Date Extended Up To August 31 : Due Date Declared By Government

Filing income tax return matters a ton otherwise you will face problems. We are here to inform you that previously the last date for submitting the Income Tax Return was 31st July but now the date has been extended to 31st August which means a temporary relief for those who have not filled the IT return form till date.

This date has been declared by the government itself on Tuesday. Sources asked the reason of extending the date to Ministry of Finance which they said, “ Considering the whole matter, the central board of direct taxes (CDBT) has decided to extend the final due date of IT File return from July 31 to August 31” and now this news has also been shared on social media platforms such as “Twitter” by the Income Tax India.

So, now the entities and salaried taxpayers have the time till 31st August to fill the form. But make sure to fill the IT return form without fail.
