Most of us use air travel to reach our far-off destinations in just a few hours. No doubt that air travel has made our life and work a lot easier. Be it business meetings, Vacations, or even seeing your loved one that you haven’t seen in years is not a big deal now. The flights haven’t been redesigned in years and we have been seeing the same planes for a long time. Well, the Center for Process Innovation (CPI) has taken it upon itself to revolutionize the airline industry and create a windowless plane.

The British technology research company, the Center for Process Innovation thinks they’ve got the next big step in aviation transportation all figured out. The company wants to remove the windows from flights and replace them with OLED touchscreens that extend along the flight’s entire length. It will also have cameras mounted on the plane’s exterior that will display the panoramic view of the sky from outside.

According to the CPI, windows in planes are one of the greatest sources of unnecessary weight. Solid walls are stronger and allow the walls to be built thinner as well. The OLED screens that will someday replace the windows in the planes would allow passengers to select entertainment and stewardess service along with the mesmerizing view from outside.

Well, It surely is not going to help people who are afraid of flying and there is also going to be light pollution inside the cabin.
