“This is how little kids cough” was retweeted more than 200,000 times and liked more than 630,000 times by Twitter user @aliahgeyes on December 3rd. By showing her little brother coughing in response to the tweet, Twitter user @julissapizzaaa gained over 750 retweets and 6,400 likes. Others on the microblogging platform weighed in with their interpretations of the tweet’s comparison findings. Over 140 people retweeted, and 1,500 people liked images posted by user @blackbile of children coughing (shown below, left). Over 570 retweets and 4,400 likes were put by user @ericisgrody, who used his phone to combine the two images.
