Indian government is pissing every internet user now and then, Remember how last year our government banned porn and how people went mad. Well the government is trying to repeat the same thing again by banning our favourite torrent websites and now it is legally a crime visiting these torrent websites.

Yes you heard it right, If you are caught surfing a torrent website then you can be jailed for 3 years and also a penalty of 3 lakh rupees. This ban by government is so ridiculous that forget downloading, you cannot even have a look at the images online on some websites like imagebam. Why government why are you playing with our feelings, we love torrent and can’t live without it.

If you visit extratorrent.cc then you will find a notice which says :-

“This URL has been blocked under the instructions of the Competent Government Authority or in compliance with the orders of a Court of competent jurisdiction. Viewing, downloading, exhibiting or duplicating an illicit copy of the contents under this URL is punishable as an offence under the laws of India, including but not limited to under Sections 63, 63-A, 65 and 65-A of the Copyright Act, 1957 which prescribe imprisonment for 3 years and also fine of upto Rs. 3,00,000/-. Any person aggrieved by any such blocking of this URL may contact at [email protected] who will, within 48 hours, provide you the details of relevant proceedings under which you can approach the relevant High Court or Authority for redressal of your grievance”

All this url have been blocked using ur DNS with the help of you internet service provider. You can any day bypass this issue using Google’s DNS servide and easily surf the torrent website but you will get caught. So you can use a VPS (virtual private server) so that no one can trace your IP address.

Note:- We suggest you not to use any software to unblock these torrent websites instead Wait for some days to get these websites unblocked by government itself or else you will end up in jail. Forget torrent you will not even be able to access internet their.
