For many years, Brooklyn, New York City’s most popular region, has transformed into one of the most visited places in the world. It offers so much from culture to art, music to food. There’s no doubt that residents of Brooklyn are proud to live there. It has several restaurants and bars spread throughout the area. There are also great hotels in Brooklyn that you can stay in while on your vacation.

Brooklyn is Definitely Your Next Vacation Spot

Brooklyn has uncountable places you can visit. This can make it hard to choose. This article gives you a list of the best places you can visit in Brooklyn. They include:

1) Brooklyn Museum

The Brooklyn Museum is among the largest art museums in New York.  It is the second-largest after the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  That gives you enough reason to visit it. Brooklyn Museum houses one of the greatest collections of ancient Egyptian and contemporary art done by Georgia O’Keefe, George Bellows, and John Singer Sargent.

2) Visit Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn. This bridge is a must seen if you are visiting Brooklyn. In fact, this bridge is not just a fun experience for tourists, even the natives still find themselves in love with the bridge. There is a dedicated pedestrian footpath on the bridge, making it wonderful to stroll around.

3) See art at the DUMBO Gallery

DUMBO- which stands for Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass, is filled with talent and its galleries have captured much of it. DUMBO is the first neighborhood in Brooklyn that you will come across after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. It consists of interesting shops, old warehouses, and apartments. DUMBO is also home to the popular pizzeria Grimaldi’s.

4) Prospect Park

A walk through Prospect Park is a good way to spend a memorable day. The park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted after the completion of Central Park. It is wide [about 90 acres], and it hosts several activities from bike riding to horseback riding, baseball, and soccer. You definitely need to visit this place to experience great fun.

5) Eat in Williamsburg

Williamsburg has incredible restaurants, block by block. There is so much to eat in this neighborhood. You can even choose to have your meal [breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner] in different restaurants.  If you are the foodie type, Brooklyn would gladly offer you mouthwatering dishes.
