Sunny Leone, is one such celebrity who is known all around, and millions recognize her face. Sunny Leone has everything human dreams of, so obviously, we are all astonished when she admits that she has had to go through rejections and disappointment.
“Of course, everybody has to face rejections. You don’t want to feel that way, it affects your day, but then there’s tomorrow. You have something else going on. If someone’s not giving it to you, you go out and get it. How are you going to satisfy yourself and your career,” Leone says.
This 41-year-old actress holds an honest and true fan following, but when we talk about famous brands, it’s a completely contrasting situation. Sunny discloses they hide and withdraw from choosing her for endorsing them. Sunny further adds that there is probably no makeup brand in the entire India that would be happy to launch me in their respective ad film. She exclaims that obviously, this fact hurts, she feels as though she cannot be just as good as they are. The clothing brand says away to give clothes to her to dress up at a function because she feels that they think that Leone is not quite that popular or worth it.
She says,” Then what do you do? I created my makeup line and my clothing brand. It’s mine. It’s just about saying ‘you know what? Buzz off, I will just create it and make it all about how I want the world to view my brand’,” says the actor.
But what results when the same roles get interchanged, and now she is in the position to turn down a project or brand, she doesn’t quite a fan of? Now that is some serious ego clash.
Sunny Leone further adds that “It all has to work. Some people think when you sign a film, it’s just one yes, but you say a yes to so many different things… they have to happen before you even reach the set. I am talking about the business side of things, your contract, the money, the stylist, the hair and makeup person, and what’s required of you. That’s how it is at least for me”.
She additionally says that there exist quite numerous things we say no to, and it hurts that person possibly. She says, that if we give a thought to it, that when we are trying to sell something and they say a no, obviously it hurts. Likewise, there have been times when she has been rejected for particular projects, that she wished to be a part of.
