Post a roka ceremony that took place last year in Rajasthan, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant got engaged in Antilia on the date January 19. A pre-engagement Mehendi ceremony was organized in Mumbai quite recently, in which Merchants decked up in a mesmerizing pink lehenga by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Post their roka ceremony, which was organized at Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan’s Nathdwara on the date December 29, a formal statement by the Ambani family quoted, “Anant and Radhika have known each other for a few years and today’s ceremony commences the formal journey of their marriage in the coming months. Both families seek the blessings and good wishes of everyone for Radhika and Anant as they start their journey of togetherness.”
A well-trained classical dancer, Radhika Merchant is the daughter of a popular business tycoon named Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Viren Merchant is counted among the wealthiest businessmen in India and is the CEO of Encore Healthcare, a privately owned pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
As per the DNA, Radhika Merchant’s net worth is somewhat in the range of 8 crores to Rs 10 crore. The majority of her income is earned from her family business, Encore Healthcare. Her father Viren Merchant on the other side, has a net worth of Rs 755 crore, according to Times Now. In one of her photos posted on her Instagram fan page which has more than 60,000 followers, Merchant is witnessed wearing a sequined ivory gown by Sabyasachi, which is tagged around US$4,400, according to Times Now.
In different social media uploads, the 28-year-old is witnessed decked up in a floral white Dolce & Gabbana dress costing around $2,345 together with a pair of platform sandals from the above brand, worth US$1,790, according to Times Now.
