Meet this influencer, who has gathered a massive following on the social platform Instagram, has said he doesn’t speak to his family because they are not famous.
Larz, who is 23 years old, and lives in California, US, has supposedly blocked out all ties with his family after accumulating over 400,000 followers and parting out with stars and celebrities. He initially captured the limelight back in 2020 post he licked a toilet bowl given as the ‘coronavirus challenge’, The video of him doing this went viral, which eventually led him to gain popularity.
Larz then asserted to have caught the virus – though his friend, later on, showed the footage he uploaded from the hospital was, in reality, old and he was lying about having contacted COVID. He has made a comeback in the headlines post his giving out a bizarre statement. Larz has brought out that he cut off all ties with his own family because they’re not as famous and popular as him.
Making an appearance on the Australian radio programme the Kyle and Jackie O Show, he informed he thought it was “embarrassing” that audience would even think he still speaks to his family.
When inquired by Jackie O’ Henderson the presenter, if he still speaks to his family, he went on saying: “Of course not. I stopped talking to them so long ago, it’s embarrassing that people would think I still talk to them. ”
When questioned about who he talks to he said: “I talk to Cardi B over Instagram DM. We met on Twitter in 2015 and ever since have talked fluently.” Larz parties out with celebrities such as Billie Eilish.
“I’m just more famous than everyone and I won’t talk to people who aren’t unless they get the same amount of followers as me,” he went on saying.
He additionally said that he had cut off and blocked his five brothers along with his four sisters on all social media platforms be it Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat and refused to talk to him till they gathered an equal number of followers as him. Larz has nearly 422k followers on Instagram.
This is not where he stopped. He added that his parents were too caught up in “divorcing, fighting, and being irrelevant” to care that he had become distant from the family. This action led the presenter to tell him that he would “regret” this behaviour in the future, the boy went on and commented that he “has [his] own rules”.
“It’s going to go in one ear and out the other,” he said.
This is not just the first time when he tagged his family as being irrelevant to him. He has previously quite several times mentioned it. Appearing on a talk show a few years down a lane, he went on saying: “I don’t talk to my family [because] they’re irrelevant. None of them has followers. If they got followers or got rich, I’d probably talk to them again.”
