You must have generally seen photoshoots of occasions like engagements, weddings, pre-weddings, childbirth, or kids’ birthday. But have you ever seen someone getting a photoshoot done after they are divorced? If you ask me, I have never seen something like that or ever thought of it After all we always relate photoshoots with happy moments.
Recently 47-year-old Marie Lollis to celebrate the end of her 13-year-old marriage decided to get a bold photoshoot. It went viral in no time and inspired people to end their bad and toxic relationships. Her pictures showed how they can even be happy after a divorce and start a new chapter in their lives.
Marie ended her 13 years long marriage earlier this year and refused to be upset and cry about it. According to her, she got the chance to start over and begin a new chapter. Marie got a great photoshoot idea out of divorce. “I wanted a way to close a chapter in my life my way and throw a divorce party after finally making it official,” Marie said.
So she grabbed a bottle of wine, put on knee-high boots, got her divorce papers, and her wedding picture, and happily posed in front of the camera for the shoot. The hilarious but cool pictures were taken by her sister-in-law Natasha Lollis who runs the Tiltin’ My Lens Photography business.
The divorcee posed merrily with the wine glass that read “Boy Bye”. She was seen smashing her wedding photo frame, burning a photo, and standing joyfully holding her divorce papers along with a message to her ex-husband “I would wish you the best but… you already had it!”
The idea behind the photoshoot was to show people that not every marriage ends up in tears. Marie wanted it to represent ‘strong powerful women’ who ‘have the strength to carry on. She said “After everything, I’m stronger and I’m happy with my life. I’m blessed with a good man and family and close friends.”

The divorcee said that the reason she divorced her ex-husband was an abuse of drugs. “He got hooked on meth and got around with the wrong crowd,” she said. “It’s sad how meth can change a person. When he was not on that, he was a good man.”
