Cricket lovers and fans in India are eagerly waiting for the men’s ODI world cup since when the news of India organising the series was declared. In a place, where cricket is equal to a celebration or a festival for a huge part of the population, we looked forward to witnessing some of the crazy events at the time of the world cup. International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule for the coming up men’s world cup on Tuesday. It has merely been a day since the announcement of the schedule and it has started creating havoc in all the 10 cities organizing the cricket matches. Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is organizing the most-looked forward match of India vs Pakistan match on 15 October 2023 and people around India are trying their luck to grab a ticket and watch the game live.

Although tickets and passes for the matches are not yet released but this has zero effect on cricket fans’ plans. Being aware of the date and location, fans have begun reserving their rooms in hotels in Ahmedabad. The demand for stays has reached to such a height that nearly all the hotels are already reserved. Just so you know, there is still a time of over 3.5 months before India vs Pakistan match. The craze is outright amazing!

As per the report by The Times of India, the rooms in the base category are for around ₹52,000 and the near about cost for premium option stay is more than a whopping ₹1 lakh. Despite the rising prices, the hotels are still getting booked at a mind-boggling speed. This tournament will result in a major boost to the hospitality sector of Ahmedabad.

The city is on its way to seeing a massive crowd right from the beginning of the world cup. Narendra Modi Stadium is going to organise the first match of the series between England and New Zealand.
