If you feel that travelling to let on a bike or in a tour is out of your budget then don’t worry, we have some good news for you. Now you can reach the mountains very comfortably via bus. Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has just launched its New Delhi-to-Leh bus service.
You will be travelling to 17,000 feet above sea level mountain, the journey is never going to be easy. Leh is a very challenging trip to do and this journey is not for the faint-hearted. You could start experiencing nausea, headaches and altitude sickness.
It will cost you only Rs 1365 one way charge from Delhi-Manali-Leh route which is a 1050 kilometeres. Don’t worry about the drivers as they will make you reach Leh safely as they are trained and professional drivers.
On every alternate day the bus will leave Manali at 11.am and will arrive in Leh. The bus will take a overnight hault at Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district to ensure safety of the passangers. Next day morning the bus will depart at 4 am in the morning. The over night stay will cost you Rs 2700 which includes breakfast and the bus will take you through some beautiful destinations.
