Shark Tank India has announced the newest addition to their judge’s panel as a new shark. Ans it’s Radhika Gupta, Edelweiss Mutual Fund Managing Director and CEO. Radhika is all set to appear on the third season of the popular business reality TV show Shark Tank India along with several new judges as Shark. T
The makers have started revealing the additions to the lineup of judges while the pitchers are yet to be revealed. After Azhar, Deepinder, and Ritesh, the latest shark on board is Radhika Gupta.
The Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO became the CEO in February 2017. She served as the Business head of Edelweiss Multi-Strategy Funds for almost 3 years. Radhika is recognized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a young global leader and an accomplished author. She played a vital role in building the mutual fund company in just 5 years to Rs 1 trillion.
On Saturday, Ms Gupta announced the news and shared a picture with fellow Sharks. She wrote, ”Founded a company. Building another one. And investing in many others that are building the India of tomorrow. Love everything about entrepreneurship and want to do everything to cheer for those who are building this country. This weekend at Shark Tank India is just about that. Super excited to learn, share, and be part of the magic of new.”

The Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO has completed a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.S.E in Computer Science Engineering. She also pursued the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology from the University of Pennsylvania. The makers announced Gupta’s onboarding by writing, “Here’s the green signal from the Sharks to set the 6th schedule in motion with the new Shark Radhika Gupta.”

Along with Gupta the other judges will include Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics) and Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group).
It will also star Ritesh Agarwal (Founder and CEO of OYO Rooms), Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com), Azhar Iqubal (Co-Founder and CEO of Inshorts) and Deepinder Goyal (Founder and CEO of Zomato). The show will arrive on Sony Television, hosted by Rahul Dua, and also on the Sony LIV app.
