Mumbai is developing every day and the development is taking a very fast speed. Every day there is an inauguration ceremony of some business or a building or a bridge in the city of dreams, and this is helping to change the dimensions of the country India. Mumbai is the city of dreams, and people are always keen and curious to know what’s going on in the city. Social media influencers are at the peak of recording the footage of locations where activities happen or motorcyclist are prepared with their costume to check out the roads of different bridges. But, this time, the curiosity of people turned into a nightmare when Mumbai police took more than 200 motorists into remand and charged Rs. 500/- INR from each one of them for stopping at the MTHL bridge and taking a selfie.

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mumbai Trans Harbour Link a.k.a MTHL is ready to roll and it is the longest bridge in the country that connects Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The bridge is 21.8 kilometers long and is the longest connecting transportation medium between Navi Mumbai and old Mumbai. From Nhava Sheva to Sewri, this bridge has its beauty standards and was inaugurated by our Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi ji on Friday. The bridge was open for the Mumbai citizens on Saturday.

The moment people came to know about the opening of the bridge, they started visiting the bridge and started creating nuance by blocking the lane as all of them were stopping in the middle of the road to take selfies. Some people who were offended by the chaos called out the Mumbai Police and after that, the violators were caught by ACP Abdul Sayyed and API Sharad Patil who penalized more than 100 rule breakers and charged them penalties under section 177 and section 122.

Being a responsible citizen of India, we all love it when the country develops, but there are a few things that we need to take care of. We request each one of you that if you want to explore the MTHL bridge, you are welcome but please do not stop the traffic for the other passengers, just for your social media content. The bridge is indeed beautiful, and what’s better than reaching in a few minutes from one end to the other in a city like Mumbai, right?

Hope, you all will enjoy a long drive ride on the newly created bridge. Jai Hind!
