Finding a really good deal on a flight ticket is always exciting. But despite whatever budget travel hacks you might use, one thing that can make it all more challenging is which airport you fly out of. No matter who you are or where you’re from, it is very likely that you have boarded an airplane to travel from one place to another. One of the biggest reasons for air travel to become so popular so fast is the time required for the journey and the comfort. In our fast lives today, we hardly have any time to waste. Direct flights (also called non-stop flights) from one place to another cost the highest during peak demand seasons or times. But, we still find ourselves booking a ticket for the costlier direct flight rather than a 1-stop or more flight which can be up to 35% savings on the wallet!

This is mainly because a fair number of airports in the world have quite an unimpressive quality of place to layover during what seems like never-ending waiting time between two successive flights. However, some airports can make you take a cheaper flight just to spend more time to spare for layovers while others are too luxurious and expensive that provide top-class services. The nonprofit journalism organization CivMetrics collected the average cost of flights from the busiest airports in the country and here are their ranks from the most expensive to the cheapest.
