Atal Bridge – the motto behind building the bridge was to connect the old Mumbai with the heart of the city Navi Mumbai. By driving on this 21 kilometers long bridge, you can reach Navi Mumbai in just 15 minutes. People are doing different activities on the bridge and enjoying every core of it, some are seen standing at the corner where as some are enjoying taking selfies and sharing photos and videos on their social media handles. However, a few citizens were also spotted climbing the guardrails. This is a very risky thing to do though, but seems like people are very keen to enjoy the sea view rather than taking care of their lives.

As you are already aware with the pace of things getting viral on social media platforms like Instagram, and Facebook, videos of people having fun and considering the bridge as a picnic spot also went viral recently.

The Atal Setu bridge was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India on 12th January 2024 and the name of the bridge is kept on the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Mumbai government is requesting citizens to keep the bridge clean and they should not create any traffic turbulence on the road. However, the Atal Bridge is no more a bridge but it is more a picnic spot for Mumbaikers.

People from nearby locations like Pune, and Lonavala are also coming to Mumbai just to see the bridge and enjoy the oceanic view. We wish people to have lots and lots of fun but they must also follow the traffic rules and should not break them at any cost. So, what are you waiting for, now is the time to book a ticket to Mumbai, take a cab, and enjoy the ride. Congratulations to India for adding this to the stock.
