The buyer of the house will also get to choose the colour of their new Tesla Model Y that they will get along with the house. The luxury car buyers choose will come straight from the factory. The owners came up with this unusual idea as the country’s housing market has been continuously plummeting for the past year, with high mortgage rates many prospective buyers back off from buying the property.
The homeowners in New Zealand had been making strategic plans in the hope to stand out in this intensely competitive market, with the free Tesla car being an offer or bonus, rather than an add-on to the market value. As per a report in The Guardian, Tesla cars sold in New Zealand for about $72,400.
