You might have come across hilarious stories of people ordering expensive items and instead receiving soap bars, bricks, or other weird things in return. A woman not long ago went through a somewhat similar experience when she got a bag of onions in place of branded jeans she ordered online.

There are times when you are impressed by a costly article of clothing and find it on a website where people also offer their used stuff at a discounted price. But this woman was left completely shocked when she made a payment for a pair of used Levi’s jeans from a seller on Depop, according to The Mirror.

But to her surprise, she received a package filled with tiny onions in place of jeans. The vendor, who asserted to have delivered the item displayed on the website, was also taken aback. When the customer messaged the actual seller before filing a formal complaint, the seller convinced her they had no answer as to how the jeans were changed out for the onions in the package.

The customer posted a text with the seller that went on like, “Hello, before I open a Depop case for this, do you explain why I just received a parcel with onions instead of the jeans I ordered?” Replying to this, the seller answered, “Sorry, I’m really confused; I sent the Levi’s. Did it look open to you?” inquired the seller.

The buyer post posted a picture of the package, showing up a box filled with little onions at the bottom.

A somewhat similar incident happened with a Bihar man who supposedly placed an order for a drone camera from an online store but instead got a kg of potatoes in its place. Further, he produced a video about it that went viral online. The delivery agent was seen in the video requesting the man to open the package, and immediately after, the agent confessed that the retailer had committed fraud.
