But have you ever thought that you went on a holiday with your girlfriend only for her to fall for another man? Well, this is exactly what happened with an American woman and she even went on to break up with her boyfriend and marry the stranger!
Kara, a 28-year-old woman from Michigan, was on a holiday in Florida with her sister, boyfriend, and his best friends. She was celebrating with all of them at the Spinnakers Beach Club after winning a dance competition. They were all having a gala when she first saw James, a then-stranger, at Panama City Beach. James, a young man from the UK, had approached Kara and her group with his friends to enquire about some nearby food place recommendations.
When Kara saw James for the first time, she couldn’t stop herself from noticing his eyes and smile. There was some ‘strange connection’ between the two and Kara thought, “he was trouble!” By now, Kara was attracted to him and fell in ‘love at first sight’, despite having a boyfriend she was vacationing with.
Both the groups decided to hang out together all day, but when Kara’s boyfriend went to the hotel with his friend and did not return, she got an opportunity to spend the night with James and his friends. After developing an instant connection and spending the entire night together, James and Kara even indulged in a dance together and exchanged contact numbers. later, Kara had a huge fight with her boyfriend who did not like all this when he found out. They eventually broke up on the holiday itself and called off their relationship after which, Kara got closer to James.
The bond between the two soon blossomed into romance and they stayed in a long-distance relationship for 3 months. They even spent time in Michigan and London to get to know each other better. Later, the duo planned a trip to Florida again and James proposed marriage to her with a ring on the beach where they’d first met. The couple exchanged vows and finally got married after an 8-month-long relationship.
Though we are happy for James and Kara, we feel sorry for her poor ex-boyfriend!
