The woman named Miriam Cruz is an influencer by profession and when she attended the concert, she was too excited to live her dream of seeing the singer perform live while her husband waited back home.
Mariam’s fangirl moment surprisingly came true when Santos invited her on stage to perform with her and fulfill her dream. Out of sheer excitement, the woman “got carried away by nerves and emotions” as she hopped onto the stage. This is what she said in her own words as during the live concert, while meeting and greeting all the members of the band, she kissed Santos on his lips. She later sat down beside the singer on the stage while her hand rested on his lap for quite some time. Engrossed in being with her celebrity crush, Mariam did not realize any of this but her fame got her in trouble.
The video of the influencer kissing the singer instantly started circulating on social media and before she could go back home, her viral video had already reached her husband. He wasn’t present at the concert but when he saw the footage of his wife kissing the singer so excitedly, he decided to call off their 10-year-long wedding. In her classic influencer approach, Mariam again took to a social media platform to announce the news. She made a post with the caption “This achievement came at a very high cost: the breakup of my 10-year marriage.” The Internet was in splits with one side of the debate supporting the husband’s decision while the other accused him of being “insecure”. Some even went on to call him a male chauvinist!
