Government has come up with a great idea in Vadodara called “Nirmalyam Yojna” under Swacch Bharat Abhyan” which has already been implemented and people of Vadodara are pretty much happy about it. VMC has launched a quick response team which help in cleaning the city. If people still find garbage on public places or streets then people can send a message to a helpline number and the area with garbage will be cleared out.
The helpline number will be directly monitored by the municipal commissioner who will make sure that all the garbage is cleared from streets in a very quick time. A lot of change has been made in the Garbage collection team to make sure that there is no garbage seen on the streets during day time.
Dr Vinod Rao the VMC commissioner has said that any person can complain 9913166666 over messages or Whatsapp. People can even send a photo of the place which has to be cleaned. The garbage would be picked in 2-3 hours.
