Two sets of twins were born on New Year’s Eve but on different years, months and days, only minutes apart. You may be wondering how is it possible. Well, one of the twins was born a little before midnight on December 31, 2023, while the other was born a little after midnight on January 1, 2023.

One couple welcomed their babies in New Jersey while the other parents delivered theirs in Connecticut. For sure both the parents will have an exciting birth story to tell their kids once they get older, and this will likely be their go-to fun fact of a lifetime!

The couple from Merchantville, New Jersey, Eve and Billy, welcomed their son Ezra at 11:48 p.m. on Dec. 31. He measured 18¾ inches long and weighed 6 pounds. His younger brother, Ezekiel, was born at 12:28 a.m. on Jan. 1. He measured 17¼ inches long and weighed 4 pounds, 15 ounces. Both boys are healthy and doing quite well.

The months of December and January certainly give this family quite some opportunities to celebrate.

Eve’s birthday is on the 7th of December, just days before the couple’s wedding anniversary which falls on the 12th of December. Ezra happens to share a birthday with his father, Billy, and the boys, will soon celebrate the birthday of their oldest brother, who was born at Virtua Voorhees Hospital and will turn 3 on Jan. 3, 2024.

While parents Mykel and Aliyah Kiyomi Morris of Hamden welcomed their babies at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, their baby boy Seven Morris was born at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2023. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces. At the same time, his little sister Souli Morris appeared just minutes later, at 12:02 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2024. She clocked in at the same time and weighed exactly as her brother.

“Parents Mykel and Aliyah Kiyomi Morris of Hamden, CT welcomed in a baby boy, Seven Morris, at 11:59 pm on December 31, 2023. He was easily the last recorded birth at YNHH in 2023. But wait, there’s more! Seven’s birth only set the table for twin sister, Souli Morris who arrived only minutes later, at 12:02 am,” the hospital’s Facebook post read.
