Sometimes don’t you think why people or dog owners spend hundreds of dollars buying fancy, speciality-bred dogs to suit their precise preferences? There are thousands of stray dogs and dogs that are abandoned by their owners out there already, in overcrowded animal shelters, who would give anything for a little love and care.
Meet Kelsey, a perfect example of this. She was found on the streets and has been through a lot. This poor girl lived the early years of her life on the streets and only had scraps to eat. The poor dog slowly withered away until she was almost unrecognizable as a dog. Sadly this is the fate of many stray dogs around the world who aren’t born in places where they are easily adoptable or rescued or even given proper food. But fortunately, she was noticed by a group of rescuers who were ready to change her life for good and give her a chance.
Kelsey was spotted by a group of stray dog rescuers on the side of the road. She was scavenging for anything she could eat and was completely malnourished and her body was ravaged with infections and wounds. The group of rescuers finally managed to get the poor dog into the car as she was quite frightened and was not ready to trust people.
They then took her to the vet and it was unbelievable that she survived for so long in her condition. She desperately needed nutrition so the first thing they did was give her proper food. She was living a life of starvation and trauma. The poor stray dog was taken good care of and with the right treatment, she started to heal.
Kelsey started to play with other dogs as well. Her fur started to grow back and she was happy with the love and care she was receiving there. The poor creature also gained weight and looks like she is a completely different dog.
