Women in love …
When women are in love, they can show remarkable bravery and an immense presence of mind. This was proved true yet again when a 56-year-old woman heroically jumped into a 40-foot deep well to rescue her husband who had accidentally fallen into it. The dramatic rescue is circulating all over social media and netizens are applauding the woman’s act. Here’s what happened.
An incident reported from Kerala, India recently went viral on the Internet. It talks about an impressive act of bravery and a dramatic rescue of a man in danger. The man, a 64-year-old retired police officer named Ramesan Nair, had climbed a tree in his backyard and was plucking peppercorns. When a branch of the tree broke, he lost his balance and eventually fell into a nearby well. The well was around 40 feet deep and was filled with about 5 feet of water at the moment. Ramesan’s wife Padmam was also harvesting pepper with him when the incident happened. But after the accident, what Padmam did has left the netizens in shock.
At the sight of her husband plunging into the well, Padmam immediately showed a heroic presence of mind. The 56-year-old woman quickly sprang into action as she dropped a plastic rope into the well for her husband to climb up. But when Ramesan was finding it difficult to pull himself up, she took a leap of courage and jumped into the well risking her own life just to save him from drowning. And in this moment too, she did not lose her mind. Before climbing down the well, she instructed the neighbors to call the fire brigade to rescue the couple. But this was not all.
