1) Nawazuddin Siddiqui is from a very small town named Budhana of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, where his family stays and lives a normal life, his father is a farmer and Nawazuddin has seven brothers and two sisters.
2) Nawaz used to work as a watchman before completing his graduation from Haridwar university, with a degree in science. He worked in the petrochemical firm as a chemist, but his heart was always beating for acting. He went to delhi to join sakshi theatre group and he got a chance to work with saurabh shukla and manoj bajpai.
3) Nawaz did street plays for 4 years, He played a role of a waiter in his very first film in 1999 Shool andn then quintessential criminal in his second film Sarfarosh in 1999.
4) He tried his hand in many television serials but could not mange to get any role but then he could find small role in movies like black friday and munna bhai mbbs and many others to follow.
5) He got rejected for number of times because of his looks, no 1 noticed his acting skills and talent in bollywood because looks is what matters for movies and film. He thought that agar bhooka hi marna hai, toh kyun na Bombay jaake maraa jaye? He moved to mumbai in 200.
6) He always got small roles of watchman, dhobi and other extra roles. He acted in Bypass in 2013 a short film where he got a chance to act with actor like irrfan khan. In 2004 he acted in black friday, A anurag kashyap film. that was the turning point in Nawaz’s life.
7) It was a long span of 13 years between Sarfarosh and Talaash where he struggled a lot. He used to get small credits for small roles he did at the end of all the film.
8) He got success in the film Gangs of Wasseypur 2, This gave him the feel of stardom and respect among other actors in Bollywood. He has recently done Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead role.
9) Despite his ordinary looks he was passionate about his work and never gave up. The years of his struggle helped him in reaching this stardom, he maintains a very low profile when it comes to events and parties.
10) Even though Nawaz has not played leading role in most of his films, He has been able to grab the attention of audience and critics both with his performance. His passion and determination for work has helped him reach where he is today.
