Eating KFC wings is not a big deal, many people enjoy having them but when you feast on KFC wings while a group of vegan people are protesting it, it sure is going to become a piece of news. A vegan activist group Cube of Truth was holding a protest in the city of Sydney against eating meat outside Sydney’s Town Hall by showing videos of animals tortured in the middle of the sidewalk. The group were in a very popular part of town where you can see a lot of tourists and locals walking by.

The activists who were holding TV screens showing horrific footage of animals being slaughtered and tortured in the slaughterhouse continued to protest. And a man stood near them and was feasting on KFC wings while watching them. People could be heard laughing at the man as he continued to silently eat the meat with a straight face just metres away from the vegan protesters. The video has been viewed more than two million times and has gone viral in no time.

A lot of people thought that it was childish and disrespectful to do so.

“Why do people think its cool to lack empathy for other lives and then make fun of people that actually care?” one comment read.

“I’m not a vegetarian or anything but you’re being childish,” another said.

While some were praising him for his actions.

“It’s a protest of a protest, that’s too many layers for me to understand,” one person wrote.

“He’s peacefully eating chicken, and whether you agree with him or not – they should be respectful,” another joked.
