If there’s a hiss, don’t miss this: LPG safety tips!
- Keep Calm: Maintain your composure to think clearly and move swiftly.
Steer clear of electrical sparks: To avoid ignition, never turn any electrical equipment on or off. - Put out candles, incense sticks, cigarettes, and lighters to put out flames.
In order to secure the cylinder, switch off the gas appliance, disconnect the regulator, and take it out. Use the cylinder’s safety cap. - Open up the space: For airflow, open windows, doors, and ventilators. Don’t use fans with electricity.
- Safe Evacuation: Make sure everyone leaves the building and shuts off the primary electricity source from the outside. If someone has inhaled the gas, get them outside and, if needed, get medical attention.
- Seek Assistance: In the event of a fire, call fire emergency services and ask an expert for help.
