The couple had almost completed all the rituals, only the exchange of garlands was left. But suddenly the wedding was stopped. Rahul’s family made a fuss about the alleged food shortage and refused to go ahead with the wedding. This was because the food arrangements, made by Anjali’s family, had fallen short. When the management ran out of food, nearly 100 guests from the groom’s side were left unfed. This disrupted the entire ceremony.
The groom’s family seemed to be quite outraged by this incident. Despite long arguments over the situation, the groom along with his family dramatically walked out of the wedding venue. This left the bride and her family in despair but they did not give up. When the groom’s family refused to accept or understand the unexpected incident, the bride’s family approached the police the next morning. The authorities called the groom to the police station to counsel him, and he was eventually convinced to proceed with the remaining marriage rituals. This was because she wanted to officiate the wedding instantly without leaving any room for further ado. The authorities agreed and ordered for the garlands immediately.
