A game of golf revealed an unruly situation post banter made this one man biting off another’s man’s nose in Mississippi, US. Mark Wells, who is 51 years old, engaged in an argument with his golf partner and supposedly dug his teeth into the friend’s nose in a casino parking lot on the day Monday, November 28. He then ran off from the scene in his Tesla before ultimately giving himself in to the police two days after.

As per the Bay St. Louis police, Wells, the injured person, and others had been engaged in a dispute about a golf round they played at Bridges Golf Course before in the day. However, things started to get bad among them throughout the day until they moved onto the parking lot of the Hollywood Casino at about 9:30 p.m. local time. This was then Wells according to the charges bit him on the nose.

When officers reached, they discovered the victim suffering from a facial injury—his nose had supposedly been bitten off. The victim’s nose was not located and was rushed to Memorial Hospital situated in Gulfport. Bay St. Louis Police Chief Toby Schwartz reported that the investigation concluded that the man, Mark Curtis Wells, bit the victim’s nose off. He was alleged with felony mayhem and was charged with up to seven years in prison upon convicted. The state law illustrates a felony as a premeditated “crime committed with the intent to kill in which the suspect mutilates, disfigures, disables, or destroys someone’s tongue, eye, lip, nose, limb, or another body part.”

Wells was held in the Hancock County jail post giving himself into the police Wednesday morning. He was let go immediately post compensating 10% of a $50,000 bond himself. The terrifying circumstances follow another ugly argument between two golfers in Australia. The havoc scene is said to have come up at Cranbourne Golf Club in Melbourne at the time of their annual club tournament, with arguments among two players not long after turning into a highly loud yelling match. The incident began with a 61-year-old man moving towards a member of another group on the side of the fairway, directing his club at the other player.
