The latest billionaires in the country are India’s leading e-retailer Flipkart’s co-founders Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal with around $1.3 billion (Rs.8,582 crore) net worth each. This was announced in the India’ rich list released on Wednesday by the leading business magazine Forbes.
This is the first time that an Indian e-commerce giant has been added to this list with Flipkart’s Co-Founders making an entry at rank 86 in the list. Mukesh Ambani the chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) tops list again with rank 1 for the 9th consecutive. His net worth, decreased $4.7 billion to $18.9 billion (Rs.127,700 crore) from 2014 due to lower oil prices that hit his oil and petrochemicals giant.

According to Forbes the total combined net worth of India’s to 100 richest people remained unchanged for the year 2015. In 2014 it was $346 and in 2015 it is $345. Forbes also predicted that indian economy will grow around 7% this year.
The wealth of many Billionaires in top 100 list declined due to the depreciation of Indian rupee and fall in stock market. There are 12 new entry’s to top 100 billionaires in india list . Sunil Vaswani the chairman of the Stallion group is at 48th place with a net worth of $2 Bn. Co-founder of IndiGo Rakesh Gangwal is at 70th place with a net worth of $1.6 Bn.Rakesh Gangwal’s friend and partner Rahul Bhatia who started IndiGo in 2006 is ranked at 38th with $2.4 Bn net worth.
