Dubai is the county that owns one of the tallest buildings and architectural beauty in the entire world, that is Burj Khalifa, along with its various other architectural excellence such as Burj Al Arab, the museum of the future etc. Currently, there are reports which reveal that Dubai is all set to invest in a luxurious and expensive resort which supposedly will look like the moon.

This super expensive and luxurious resort, which will resemble a moon, is said to take an investment of around $5 billion. Which, briefly calculated is Rs 40,000 crore. If we are to believe the Arabian Business report, this luxurious resort will be built by a Canadian company named Moon World Resorts Inc. The building will be massive tall, that is 735 ft. and the construction is said to take almost 48 months.

Dubai Is Constructing A Moon-shaped Luxury Resort That Is Going To Cost A Whopping $5 Billion

This luxurious resort which is supposed to resemble a moon will have excellent facilities and service, which includes a spa centre and vibrant nightlife. The architectural design will include a circular route which will be built at the structural centre of the mega-resort. It is also believed that this resort will witness around 2.5 million tourists in a year.

The Casinos situated in the resort will occupy about 23 per cent of the top floor of this building, nightclubs will take a space of about 9%, and eateries will be allocated 4%. The beach club is supposed to take around one-third of the resort’s opulence and luxurious terrace, the lagoon will take up an additional one-third, and lastly the massive amphitheatre is 4%.

 

If we take into consideration UAE’S tourism sector it is already achieving huge success. “Our tourism sector’s revenues surpassed 19 billion dirhams ($5.2 billion) in the first half of 2022,” Sheikh Mohammed informed, as per the official WAM news agency. “The total number of hotel guests reached 12 million, achieving 42 per cent growth, and we expect a strong tourism performance in this winter season.”

Moon-shaped Luxury Resort

This luxurious resort which will resemble a moon will be an add up to various sectors of the Micheal R. Henderson, who is one of the co-founders and along with proposers of this project, he said, “Moon Dubai is expected to add to the emirate’s economy in sectors such as hospitality, entertainment, attractions, education, technology, the environment and space tourism,” Arabian Business informed.
