While the duo was sitting peacefully after the solemn occasion, the moment shifted to a dramatic happenstance as the groom slapped the bride hard in a fit of aggression. For unknown reasons, the alleged happy occasion switched to an assault as the garland-clad couple indulged in this violent fight. The footage also spots another woman, perhaps a friend or a family member, trying to intervene and stop the assault.

Following the virality, the bride Suman Kumari, who is a police constable herself, lodged a formal complaint with the superintendent of police (SP) against her husband, Sachin Kumar. The SP made a swift decision and suspended Sachin, who is a police inspector himself. The disturbing footage had, by now, garnered severe shock and outrage online. The couple had been allegedly dating since 2023 and had just gotten married. The video of the marriage surfaced online but in a disturbing turn of events, the marriage seemed violent and needed professional assistance.
The reason why Sachin did the shameful act of hitting Suman aggressively is still not clear but the fact that he thought he would escape from the pious temple premises after his violence was proven wrong. Yet again, the power of a woman came to light as the newlywed wife did not hesitate to use her power. Indeed, her professional experience as a police constable came in handy and motivated her to lodge a complaint against her spouse. On the viral video, people expressed their rage in several comments.
