The pollution control committee on Tuesday 28th September 2021 ordered a complete ban on bursting and sales of any type of firecrackers in Delhi till January 1, 2022.
Also, a lot of experts are claiming that the third wave is expected to hit the country anytime soon and people will gather on a large scale to celebrate the Diwali festival, Also no one will be maintaining the social distancing normas plus due to the festival, we will see high level of air pollution which will see an increase in health issues in the capital city Delhi.
the commitment further added that it is not advisable to gather in large numbers during the festival and increase the relationship between air pollution and the number of people getting affected by it.
A complete ban on bursting and sales of any kind of firecrackers will be observed till 1st January 2021 in Delhi. Also, the DPCC has asked the deputy commissioner of police and district magistrates to provide daily reports of actions taken for the same.
