While people are struggling to find “the right one” for themselves, this man came up with a bizarre idea. He decided to marry his ‘rice cooker’! As per a viral post on social media, an Indonesian man got married to his rice cooker. No, not his cook. He has married his ‘cooker’. Sounds unbelievable? It’s true. Khoirul Anam posted pictures of his wedding with the cooker on Facebook. The post went viral after that leaving netizens baffled. The pictures show Khoirul dressed as a groom in traditional Indonesian attire. He is accompanied by the appliance, well, his bride, decked up with a veil. The bunch of pictures has a clip where the ‘couple’ is signing the marriage papers and another one that shows the groom kissing the cooker!

The strangely funny yet unconventional incident is circulating all over the Internet. The man saw a life partner in the rice cooker because she is ‘white, loving, obedient, and good at cooking’. Khoirul said, “Without her, my rice is not cooked.” However, the ‘relationship’ went south pretty soon as the man decided to go for a divorce. Just 4 days after the bizarre ‘wedding’, Mr. Anam made another post on the the social media platform announcing his separation from his ‘spouse’ because, apparently, it could only cook rice! I mean, what else was he expecting?

Bizarre as it may sound, the entire plot was obviously a publicity stunt to go viral. Khoirul is an Indonesian celebrity, known for doing weird stunts to amuse and entertain his ‘followers’. And he did succeed in becoming a viral social media fame with this outlandish idea of a ‘unique’ wedding. Both the posts have sparked extreme amusement online garnering him over 1k Likes, 1,200 Comments, and around 10k+ Shares.
