Love knows no bounds!

In the Gen Z era, where there is no right or wrong definition of love, nothing is impossible when it comes to couples. From same gender relationships to situationships, breadcrumbing, cookie-jarring, and whatnot, couples are okay with everything in the name of ‘new normal’. And some duos legit take it to the next level by breaking all the norms and stereotypes. Just like this 65-year-old granny who decided to date a Gambian waiter who is over 2 decades younger than her. And it’s not just love. Her reason to date this 44-year-old rather than the men her age will shock you.

65-Year-Old Grandmother Dating 44-Year-Old Gambian Waiter — Says Men Her Age Are “Like Washed-Up Coleslaw”

Zena is a 65-year-old woman from Britain. She has recently been in the spotlight as she’s deeply in love with her boyfriend posting their pictures all over her socials. She is happily in a relationship with Ebrim, a 44-year-old man from the Gambia. Zena met Ebrim during her recent holiday in her hometown, where the middle-aged man happened to be a waiter at her resort. His flirting and romantic gestures, like asking her out on a date, wooed Zena, and she was bowled over.

British gran, 65, shows off with 44-year-old waiter boyfriend calls men her age 'Washed-up'

But not to take things otherwise. This granny is not a paedophile. She just feels pride in how her boyfriend, 21 years her junior, keeps her happy like no one else would. But what’s even more strange than their age gap is the fact that Zena doesn’t like men her age. In her opinion, men in their 60s are all big, bald, fat, and unattractive. She savagely quotes, “Men my age are like washed-up coleslaw. No flavor, no ambition. I needed spice, and I found it.” She doesn’t either fancy all young men but is rather happier with the tall and handsome Gambian waiter who takes care of her and takes her on a few fancy dates.

A 65-year-old British woman identified as Zena is in love, and she wants everyone to know how happy her boyfriend, 21 years her junior, makes her.

Although Zena’s family is concerned about her unusual relationship, she doesn’t shy away from giving a princess treatment to Ebrim, showering him with expensive presents all the time. Since they started dating, Zena has not just gifted him an iPhone and more, but also sent him cash on birthdays and Christmas. She even helped him with $4,000 for his taxi business and some other expenses to help his struggling family.

Two years ago, Zena was on holiday in The Gambia when she came across Ebrima, who was a waiter at her resort. When Ebrima, 44, started being romantic, asking her out for a date, she was happy.

Despite the trolling on social media and backlash from her own family, Zena continues to be in a serious relationship with Ebrim. Although his flirtatious personality as an ‘entertainer’ and an overload of friend requests on his social media result in petty fights between the couple, besides his poor lifestyle that Zena finds annoying, the duo still manages to remain deeply in love. They’ve reportedly gotten married already, and she claims they’re “building a life together.” Their unusual love story has left social media in splits, where some are criticising it, calling it “a visa scam,” while others are going gaga over their chemistry.

They’re seriously couple goals, aren’t they!?
