Albinism is innate melanin deficiency that results in a lack of color in skin, hair, fur and the iris in the eye. In humans, there is one albino in every 20 thousand newborns.
This condition is common in all animals and strangely in Africa, to the South of the Sahara, they are born way more often. Insects, antelopes, alligators, it doesn’t discriminate. Its probably not easy to be a white croc, a white lion or a white antelope in the jungle but it doesn’t make them any less than their colored colleagues.
We have compiled photos of 20 albino animals that are very rare, this might be one of the few places you catch a glimpse of them, ever.
