In Paris law was made in 1970 that women cannot wear pants in public without special approval from the police. in 1892 there was a change in this law and women were allowed to wear trousers in public only while riding horse and again in 1909 women were allowed to wear pants/trousers while on bicycles. And finally in 2013, the french government revoked this 214 year old law.
